Stacey Cann, with us for just a short week from Edmonton, Alberta, packed in both workshops & a performance during her stay!
Her performance work used humor & absurdity to confront real issues of protection, isolation, and social barriers in our daily lives. In her performance she built a series of walls out of wood; each with different amounts of stability & isolation for the performer. The walls she built also had a serious flaw & the audience watched as the wall topples, was not high enough to protect, and was (not too) damaging to the artist.
