Pop-up: Huis van Lies

Join us Saturday November 29th from 1-5pm to visit Lies’ ‘Cabinet of Curiosities!’ Collages, photographs and found sculptures from her time as artist in residence.

Lies is a The Hague based artist and illustrator. She received her BFA in Fine arts from the Royal academy of Arts in The Hague. Lies likes to use various techniques like collage, painting, photography and drawing. Depending on the commission, it’s subject and the client she chooses her materials. In her work she investigates how objects relate to each other even though they have nothing in common. Trying to see something different in the most common objects and images.

Her present body of work includes illustrations for digital and publishing projects, stationery design and personal works. 

Inspired by her dreams, chaotic surroundings, magazines, vintage books and thrift shops she aim’s to make your day just a little bit brighter with her works.
